I received my order of Wonderflex last week. First time I buy some in about a year. I use it to make masks (see www.greenmanmasks.com ). I started using the new sheets today and found that it is markedly different. Many of the characteristics of the Wonderflex I have come to love are gone. It doesn't shape and stretch like it used to, and has lost much of it's adhesive properties. To make it stick to my foil-covered face-form while shaping a mask was a major challenge.
It also seems that one needs to apply a LOT more heat to activate the material, resulting in burned fingers and much longer cooling and setting times.
I am quite disappointed...
Has anyone here experienced similar problems/adaptations since Dazian changed the formula on the Wonderflex?
I'd love to hear from you.
