Fairy Mask for show:D

I've been a little slower on my mask 'production' lately, but I finally got one of my mask designs created and I'm very happy with it.:)

I created my "Amethyst Fairy" mask using an air-dry clay which is very light weight and incredibly durable. The wings are handmade as well and I used acrylic paints and shimmer powders to paint it:)

Please check it out and let me know what you all think.

I'll be taking better photos of the mask at a later date as these photos don't properly show the colors. In these photos the mask comes out looking more blueish when in IRL it is actually quite purple.

-I'm the model wearing the mask as well as the photographer:)

I don't usually like my work that much...or rather, I'm generally eager to be rid of my masks once I'm done with them...but I really like this one alot. I'd have to say that so far it is my favorite of all of my past and present masks.:) It turned out just as I had designed it...which is rare, actually.
I'm planning to wear this along with some matching Fairy wings, of my own making, to the King Richard's Faire here in MA next weekend.

I'll be posting more photos of this mask at later date in my mask-making journal linked to above as well as in my DA gallery here:

Thanks!:)
